The Newegg.com team and I are proud to announce the recent completion and implementation of the action batch, a project aimed at further fortifying our current tracking system. We are continuously working to optimize our affiliate program. The action batch project is geared toward reaching this goal.
From time to time, commissions are not properly credited to affiliates who have rightfully earned them for reasons such as the browser settings individual users set. The action batch essentially works as an additional verification layer. Every day, a list of all affiliate transactions is sent to Commission Junction. CJ cross-checks the list (or action batch) we send against what they have in their system. Any transactions on the action batch that were not properly credited are credited accordingly. This project was undertaken with the goal of ensuring that all affiliate-driven transactions are properly credited and we feel as though we have taken a step in the right direction.
