Nestle Waters North America Inc. (“NWNA”) Affiliate Promotion Guidelines
If chosen participate in the NWNA program, you will be required to abide by these general guidelines as well as NWNA’s standard terms and conditions, which will be provided to you upon your acceptance to the program.
At this time, we do NOT allow incentivized traffic or cash back sites.
We also do NOT allow affiliates to utilize e-mail marketing or promotion in conjunction in any way with downloadable software.
Affiliates may not operate programs that infringe on NWNA or other Nestlé intellectual property or otherwise violate the rights of any third party. An example of this includes buying domains that include NWNA trademarks.
PROMOTION GUIDELINES
Please be advised that NWNA ads cannot be promoted on web sites that are unsuitable for the Program based on NWNA’s sole discretion. Unsuitable sites may include, but are not limited to, those that:
Contain or promote sexually explicit or adult themed content or other advertisements
Contain hate/violent/offensive content
Promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age
Promote illegal activities or otherwise violate any applicable laws, including those targeting "spyware", "adware" or SPAM
Promote religious themes or affiliations, are focused on environmental issues, or web sites primarily intended for children
Do not clearly state an online privacy policy to its visitors
Are considered offensive or inappropriate at Nestlé’s sole discretion
NWNA has a ZERO TOLERANCE policy on this matter and any instance will result in removal from the program.
If you are accepted into the NWNA program, you will be able to participate in the program subject to the terms and conditions of an agreement which will be presented to you for your acknowledgment and acceptance. You should also note that if you are accepted to participate in the program and your website is thereafter determined (in NWNA’s sole discretion) to be unsuitable based on the criteria above for the program we may terminate our agreement with you.
AD GUIDELINES FOR SEARCH, CONTEXTUAL, DISPLAY:
The goal of the following ad copy guidelines is to clearly distinguish online ads by NWNA from ads by authorized resellers or marketing affiliates such as you. When creating ad copy for any online marketing campaign, including but not limited to paid search, the following policy must be adhered to by the NWNA’s marketing affiliates:
The ad copy must not include "Official" or "Official Site" or trademark in the search results text on Google, Yahoo, MSN or Ask.com, or in any way insinuate the ad is coming from NWNA;
When developing copy or subject lines, the advertisement must be clear and not misleading to consumers
All promotions and offers must be valid and current
Affiliates may not promote coupon codes or rebates for discounts/rebates that are not currently available to the consumer from NWNA
The NWNA copy for marketing affiliates must comply with all other requirements of NWNA marketing guidelines for marketing affiliates
All URLs and landing pages must be approved by the NWNA. Contact your account manager for approval
- Affiliates must use creative assets as provided by the NWNA. Affiliate may not modify assets in any way without explicit consent from NWNA in writing. Use and placement of assets must comply with promotion guidelines.
SEARCH GUIDELINES Affiliates may not bid on the brand term "Nestlé", “Nestlé Waters” or variations thereof or of any Nestlé or NWNA brand names.
Affiliates must not bid on keyword(s), phrases or variations thereof that contain the word Nestlé or Nestlé Waters including misspellings and domain names or of any Nestlé or NWNA brand names.
Affiliates must not use "Nestlé, Nestlé Waters, or of any Nestlé or NWNA brand names (or any misspellings) in the domain of the display URL (between the "www" and ".com"). They may, however, use the term outside of the domain .
Affiliates may not copy the ad for the official NWNA listing, which is identifiable on search engines by the visible URL and the "Official Site or Official" denotation.
"Official Site" or any derivative must not be used in ad copy.
The advertisement must be clear and not misleading, and match the promotion to which the consumer is being linked.
